Fogdiver est la première sortie majeure du groupe allemand The Ocean et, plutôt que de parler de premiers pas, on pourra déjà mentionner des pas de géants. Fogdiver est, à l'exception de quelques samples, totalement instrumental et c'est un plaisir pour les tympans : protéiforme, il est redoutable ("Fogdiver", "Isla de la Luna") mais poignant ("Endusers") et expérimental (ce piano erratique dans "The Long Road to Nha Trang" !).
